Sean Farney

A recovering data center operator who built and ran a 120MW facility, Sean Farney is still an industry nerd and now runs marketing for Kohler Data Centers, the data center industry’s Global Power Partner. Past roles include Founder of Ubiquity Critical Environments, Data Center Manager at Microsoft, and Head of Data Center Operations at 7ticks, a high-frequency trading start-up now part of ICE. Today, he also manifests his industry love by teaching a course on technology-infused culture and the important role that data centers play at his alma mater, Northwestern University.
